Life is busy. Take a look at your calendar and it's tough to find an opening. I know that to be true in my life. I have meetings to attend, messages to write, phone calls to return, people to see, practices to coach, programs to design and business' to run. And this does not take into the time my family wants from me. So I try to fit all of this into any one week or one day BUT what about my time with God? Have I scheduled Him out of my life? Have you?

Isn't God suppose to be a priority....THE PRIORITY? So why is it that we are now taking Him out of calendar and putting other stuff in His place? Why aren't we scheduling our lives AROUND Him rather than INSTEAD of Him? We are too busy and we are putting all this stuff in our lives to find acceptance, contentment, and value. I thought we were to turn to God for all of that. I thought God was the provider of all things in which we needed? Then why are we looking somewhere else for all that need? Are the schedules of our lives really providing what we need or is it that we just want to keep busy to keep ourselves from hurting?

Today I am making this decision....I WILL NOT SCHEDULE GOD OUT OF MY LIFE, I WILL SCHEDULE MY LIFE AROUND HIM SO THAT I MAY HONOR HIM AND FIND ACCEPTANCE THROUGH HIM. He will never let me down...this I know to be true. This settles it....no more busyness that keeps me from meeting with Him. Church needs me....I need church!
